At the recent Quality in Construction Awards, Partners’ refurbishment contractor, United House, won the prestigious Excellence in ICT category. This tribute was for their computer management system designed to control the processes involved in the refurbishment of the Council’s street properties. United House were also short listed in the Building Awards category for PFI/PP Contractor of the year, in recognition of the way they had tackled the size, scope and complexity of the challenging project for the renovation of 6500 council owned street dwellings in Islington.
These accolades come on top of Partners achievements last year when they were highly commended in the London Excellence Awards for 2007 in the categories of Making Partnerships work and for Housing. The London Excellence awards are recognised and respected tributes for London based organisations seeking very high standards in their strategic and operational activities.
