Islington Council is enrolling learners now for courses starting this Autumn. The courses are available to Islington residents or parents with children in Islington schools. You must be over 19, unemployed or receiving Jobseeker's Allowance, Income Support, Housing Benefit or Incapacity Benefit.
All of the courses are free and take place in modern, friendly learning centres across the borough. Subject areas include:
- Learning English as a second language (ESOL)
- Everyday English
- Everyday maths
- IT, computers and using the internet
- Skills for employment
- Career planning
