The Refurbishment and Improvement Works

We are carrying out refurbishment works to bring all the homes we manage to the "availability standard" set by Islington Council. We are working through a programme to complete all the works.

The PFI 1 program finished on the 30th September 2008.

The refurbishment and improvement works will be carried out by United House who are part of the Partners team. They will include:

• Installing a new kitchen and bathroom and central heating in tenants' homes
• Checking wiring meets modern standards and rewiring tenants' homes where needed
• Overhauling windows
• Redecorating the outside of properties
• Overhauling the roof and roof covering where needed
• Tackling damp and structural problems where needed
• Redecorating communal hallways
• Renewing the door entry system to shared front doors
