Dance Project at Angel Shed for girls aged 12-19 - free places available
published on 06 January 2021

Angel Shed have a new exciting dance project. The weekly sessions are for girls aged 12-19 and it is completely free to join. On this 5-week project participants will experiment with different styles of choreography and performance as well as getting to meet new people. Members will be directed by a team of professional dance artists, with a performance over half term shot by a professional videographer.

This project has been designed to support those most impacted by Covid-19. As an inclusive performing arts company we are open to all, no experience is necessary, and we provide 1:1 support for those who require it. There are only 15 places available and we are prioritising those who have been most at risk of isolation and loneliness during this time - this includes those with a long-standing physical or mental impairment or disability, people from ethnically diverse communities, and those on lower incomes.

The workshops will be on Monday evenings, 7.30-8.30pm, starting January 18th. Sessions will take place on Zoom while lockdown is in place, and then at City and Islington College (444 Camden Rd) if the rules are relaxed. Application forms are available here.
