Islington's Summer Reading Challenge
published on 03 June 2020

Free activities for children

The Summer Reading Challenge is back and this year it’s all about funny books, happiness and having a laugh.

The Challenge aims to make sure children aged 4-11 keep up the reading habit over the summer and discover new authors and types of books to read.

This year because of Covid-19 the Challenge is online and includes loads of fun, free activities including draw-a-longs, readings and jokes from authors including David Baddiel, Ben Fogle, Paul O’Grady, and Samantha Baines, and a CBBC kick-off party.
